When you have a night time Star Party here is your check list:
You want it to be clear, pleasantly cool,
a great bonfire,
some hotdogs,
s’mores
great comfy yard chairs, games to play until it gets dark
a great telescope to tune into the stars
and family and friends who come to spend the night, maybe even sleep over.
You don’t want clouds or RAIN…UNLESS it is RAINING Stars, of course…
and this year..our third anuual STAR party, it is doing just that..
Why not start your own annual Sar party.. let it be as simple or as “complex” as you choose:

This year our Star party will have a Star Party designed Birthday cake..
Who knows maybe we’ll have some great Big Dipper punch..YUM…
maybe I can squeeze in painting on glow in the dark stars on t-shirts for the grandkids..
Whatever you do, whoever you are, take one of this weekends evenings and look at the stars
hopefully you will see some or all of the Perseid Meteor showers,
then why not find something in all of that majesty and thankful
